Mortgage Systems Administrator (On-Site)

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Systems Administrator who will be the primary point of accountability for the mortgage loan origination system (Encompass) and related platforms. This role focuses on ensuring system integrity, compliance, and optimal performance while driving efficiency through technical solutions and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrator for Encompass, including configuration, business rules, workflows, and user permissions
Serve as the primary administrator for Mortgage Services SDP, including configuration, workflows, user permissions and daily ticket management
Co-manage Optimal Blue pricing engine integration
Oversee system updates, patches, and testing for mortgage platforms
Maintain system uptime and performance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SLAs
Identify and implement emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, AI) to drive efficiency and enhance the member experience
Develop and maintain custom scripts or code (Visual Basic.NET) to automate processes
Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance
Track and report on efficiency gains and error reduction resulting from system changes
Ensure accuracy of data within the LOS and related systems
Compile and distribute operational and management reports
Lead system-related projects, including upgrades and new feature implementations
Assess risks related to system changes and provide mitigation strategies
Work closely with Mortgage Managers to align system functionality with business needs
Work closely with IT to proactively identify, plan, and implement technology solutions that support mortgage operations, security, and compliance

Required

Minimum 2 years administering a mortgage loan origination system (Encompass strongly preferred)
Experience with system configuration, workflow design, and automation
Proficiency in Visual Basic.NET or similar scripting languages
Strong understanding of mortgage production processes
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred

Encompass Administrator and Developer certifications highly desirable
