Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and sustain critical national mission-systems that provide resilient strategic threat-warning and space capabilities for the nation

Support a world-wide architecture of sensors, processing, communications and command-and-control (C2) systems so that the national command authority, warfighters and combatant commands can detect, track, assess and respond to air, missile, and space threats

Provide timely, accurate, unambiguous and continuous warning and attack assessment of threats via integrated land-based, airborne and space-based systems

Support infrastructure operations, sustainment, software/hardware modernization (technology refresh), and global mission partner connectivity in order to maintain mission operational availability for a no-fail mission
