Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering study-related behavioral treatment
Assist with development of treatment materials and participant recruitment
Identifies oneself, establishes rapport, and communicates with study participants in an empathetic and informative professional manner
Conducts initial and follow-up counseling sessions with study participants
Maintain study procedure documentation
Assists with development of study-related treatment materials
Assists with study recruitment activities
Maintains respect for participants and participant confidentiality
Communicates effectively with study team members
Attends regular team meetings
Troubleshoots field issues when necessary
Uses discretion to resolve issues when unplanned events arise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with prior related work experience in related field (e.g., mental health counseling, social work, or health education)
May require 6-8 weeks training depending on study protocols
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact with study participants
Excellent coordination, time management, and organizational skills
Self-direction and initiative to achieve team and individual goals
Demonstrates high-level communication and active listening skills
Demonstrates dependability, flexibility, and professional demeanor
Demonstrates basic computer skills
Ability to develop rapport with a diverse pool of research participants
Ability to navigate sensitive topics and maintain confidentiality of participants
Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team settings
Ability to attend to detail and follow through on tasks
Availability to work evenings, overnight and weekends if called for under the study protocols
