Responsibilities
Instructs, guides, and schedules work of combined laboratory technicians
Performs chemical and physical analyses
Supports and coordinates work of the multiple laboratories listed above
Understands quality control and measurement techniques
Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and special instructions are being followed
Makes recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures improvements and revisions
Supports all audit functions to maintain accreditations
Supports all other sections of Chem Lab as needed
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in a laboratory setting or a 4-year degree with a science concentration
Three years of experience as a Senior Analyst/A Analyst in the Chem Lab
Basic computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and working knowledge of SAP
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Self-motivated and able to initiate action without direction required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize required
Ability to apply conflict resolution skills required
Ability to conduct chemical analyses
Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology
