Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support the Commercial Lines team, fostering collaboration and professional growth
Oversee the day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to agency standards
Act as a resource for complex coverage questions, client escalations, and policy-related issues
Monitor workloads, prioritize assignments, and ensure efficient workflow distribution across the team
Support training and development initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and skill enhancement
Collaborate with producers, account managers, and leadership to ensure client retention and satisfaction goals are met
Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to support placement and renewal strategies
Review and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity, quality, and client service
Assist with the onboarding of new team members and implementation of new systems or processes
Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including account management and/or leadership responsibilities
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and underwriting guidelines
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
