Tufts Medicine is seeking an IT Trainer, Credentialed I to focus on the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions to meet organizational needs. This role involves conducting training on Epic and other applications, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring educational effectiveness for end users.

Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of Epic application(s) as implemented at Tufts Medicine entities

Lead in person workflow-based classes for clinical and non-clinical areas as assigned based on credentialing competency

Provide input and support for educational implementations

Collaborate with Principal Trainers to prepare approved materials and meet project timelines

Recommend adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed

Administer competency tests

Respond to user needs and collaborate with other training staff to identify and develop appropriate technology solutions for teaching and learning

Maintain training records in the learning management system

Provide status reports and updates in a timely manner throughout projects

Travel to Tufts Medicine entities as needed for training, classes, meetings and project and upgrade go-live support

Assist staff with troubleshooting, personalization and optimizing efficiencies in their use of Epic and Epic integrated tools

Identify, track, and follow through on issues and questions related to Epic and integrated tools, using established channels of communication

Support the physician onboarding teams with enrolling providers in Imprivata EPCS, both in person and virtually

May re-assign service tickets

Required

High school diploma or GED

One (1) year of Epic Trainer experience OR One (1) year of Epic IT experience OR Two (2) years of experience using Epic in a healthcare role OR Three (3) years of experience as a Trainer or Educator

Pass the Tufts Medicine onsite Epic credentialing program within 60 days of hire
