KCCI, the Hearst-owned CBS affiliate in Des Moines, is seeking a Business and Human Resources Manager. This key leadership role combines finance and accounting responsibilities with human resources management, supporting employees and managing core HR activities while partnering with the regional finance team.

Responsibilities

Interpret and communicate financial results

Serve as liaison between the station and regional accounting team on reporting

Assist with forecasting and budgeting of revenues and operating expenses

Support bi-weekly and weekly payroll review, processing, and reconciliation through ADP

Prepare monthly payroll reports from ADP

Manage employee relations and provide HR support across the organization

Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes

Administer leave and workers’ compensation programs

Support employee benefits administration

Manage employee data through Oracle HCM

Oversee performance management processes

Support labor relations under union collective bargaining agreements

Process and approve invoices

Review and approve purchasing card, travel, and entertainment expenses

Maintain local operating contracts

Oversee real estate and sales/use tax reporting

Manage fleet operations

Track, tag, and dispose of fixed assets

Oversee periodic physical inventory
