Responsibilities
Contribute to system and component requirements
Collaborate with Sr. and Principal Electrical Engineers on system architecture and approaches
Create schematics and pcb layouts in Altium
Review schematics and pcb layouts of peers and contractors
Create documentation for production
Collaborate with contract manufacturers to optimize designs for manufacturability, testability, and reliability
Bringup and debug hardware
Write and execute Design Validation Test plans
Contribute to Manufacturing Test, Compliance, and Reliability development
Sustain what you have built above to ensure consistently delighted customers
Qualification
Required
4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with prototyping and implementation
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Preferred
Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
