Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of evaluations and assessments for Pillars 1, 2, and 3 of the undergraduate medical education program
Support activities related to academic and program review
Supervise the assessment team and work closely with the Office of Medical Education to ensure alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards
Collaborate with USD ITS
Qualification
Required
Masters degree in a related field; PhD preferred
Five or more years of related experience
Ability to implement methodologies to support continuous improvement
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Provides effective feedback to employees to promote positive outcomes
Communicates specific needs for office to other administrative areas that impact the department's operational goals
Provides outstanding customer service to students, faculty and administration
Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow
Skilled in motivating employees to improve performance and skills development
Foster teamwork within the department and with related units
Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan and coordinate resources and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to demonstrate close attention to details and accurately complete work
Ability to evaluate and assess accuracy of information and data are essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to troubleshoot common computer and software issues
Preferred
Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
Intermediate coding proficiency for statistical analysis, data visualization, and AI integration; ability to collaborate on technical projects and interpret machine learning outputs
