Lead strategic payroll operations, driving process improvements, automation, and compliance across payroll and accounting functions

Manage complex projects and ensure accurate financial reporting

Champion the effective use of systems like PeopleSoft and UKG Pro WFM

Foster a customer-focused culture and mentor staff

Align payroll practices with GAAP and organizational policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area required

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required

Ten (10) years in high volume payroll area required, preferably in the healthcare industry

Experience with electronic time and attendance scheduling system(s) required (UKG Pro WFM and PeopleSoft mastery required)

Seven (7) years of management/supervisory experience required in a high-volume processing area

Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)

Writing /Correspondence

Writing /Reports

Strong analytics are required for troubleshooting and forecasting costs

Strong mathematical skills required for FLSA and other complex calculations

Strong research skills

Strong statistical skills

Preferred

Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area preferred

Prior system conversion a strong plus

Extensive experience of payroll taxes

Working knowledge of federal & state wage and hour laws

P.C., MS Word, & MS Excel
