Behavioral Health Program Manager II - Recovery and Wellness - FT (M-F, 8:00 - 4:30pm)

University Health KC is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Manager II to lead a diverse team in ensuring excellent service delivery in the Recovery Health Services. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing clinical services, tracking performance improvements, and managing financial aspects of the treatment team while promoting evidence-based practices.

Leads a diverse team of master's, bachelor's, and non-clinical staff
Promotes evidence-based practices
Makes sure clinical services are documented accurately and on time
Tracks performance improvements
Manages the financial aspects of the treatment team
Plays a key role in boosting department, program, and service line outcomes

Required

Master's or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or any other related human services field approved by the State of Missouri if hired into the position after July 1, 2023. (Staff hired into position effective prior to 7/1/23 may possess lower level degrees)
Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (i.e. RN, Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, etc)
Two years' experience; one of which was working with the behavioral health population
Must be licensed or licensable in the State of Missouri
Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to work with multicultural staff and clientele
Staff with a master's degree in social work are required to have a minimum licensure of MO LMSW
If driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment
Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment

Preferred

Must have knowledge and experience with the ASAM framework for substance use and gambling treatment
