Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is seeking a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist to support national security through nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship activities. The role involves developing intelligence information, preparing reports, and coordinating with various organizations to ensure mission operations are effectively supported.

Responsibilities
Utilizing a variety of sources to develop an intelligence base of information from which to draw inferences and summaries
Preparing reports, assessments, materials for publication, statistical summaries and other material concerning the support of mission operations
Routinely working with the highest level of classified and other sensitive information
Preparing technical guidelines and procedures for internal use and for user organizations
Using a variety of software products and accesses a wide variety of internet and secure computer system portals to gather information, conduct analysis, and produce reports
Establishing and maintaining association with various law enforcement, public safety, and military organizations to coordinate intelligence/threat assessments
Developing and conducting subject matter specific training for nuclear material couriers and other employees
Qualification
Required
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Favorable suitability determination required

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance
You must be a United States Citizen
Males must abide by Selective Service registration requirements
Compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) governing personal identity which will require that you provide two forms of identification
May be required to successfully complete a one (1) year probationary or two (2) year trial period
May be required to successfully complete a one (1) year supervisory probationary period
Experience as a Nuclear Materials Courier having successfully conducted OST mission operations and served as a tactical team leader for federal agent teams under emergency conditions or led a team in tactical exercises for operational readiness teams or Unit training events
Serving as a liaison that interacts with other federal and state law enforcement, intelligence entities, and political appointees on a regular basis
Experience using the Threat Spectrum concept and knowledge of security and intelligence laws, rules, regulations, and orders to plan, manage, and evaluate functions and operations designed to interpret and disseminate information on groups and tactics, which may pose a direct threat to DOE/NNSA missions
Responsible for the safeguards and security of classified shipments and public safety on a convoy
Conducted a mobile unit tactical plan and directed shipment operations and ensured that all Federal and State laws, NNSA Orders, and mission requirements were complied with and enforced
Interacted with law enforcement, intelligence entities, and government officials as a liaison to mission operations
Conducted threat assessments that inform leadership decisions and mission operations
