Mechanical Sustainment Engineer
Lockheed Martin is a global aerospace, defense, and security company. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for sustainment of various military ground and maritime platforms in support of their Special Operations Forces Support Activity Program.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with lead engineers, project engineers, and systems and design teams to support existing platforms to ensure the customer fleets’ continued operation
Reviewing customer requests, deconflicting technical data, determining and developing solutions to issues, submitting and processing necessary documentation
Development of component installation, assembly, and part designs and drawings for integration of equipment, including: mechanical systems, armor, radios, antennas, transmitters, power equipment, server systems and components, etc
Documenting and processing engineering releases and changes
Contributing to customer reviews
Forward thinking, flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
Qualification
Required
BSME or equivalent ABET accredited degree
Design Tools: Solidworks, Creo, AutoCAD
PLM Systems: Teamcenter, Windchill
Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Projects
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Knowledge of ASME, SAE, and military specifications
Customer and Supplier/Vendor/Sub-contractor interface, written and verbal
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Ability to work part-time remotely and part-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
Preferred
Knowledge of CATIA v5
Familiarity with unmanned systems (any domain)
Familiarity with vehicle structural and mechanical systems
Familiarity with autonomous systems
Familiarity with maritime environments
Familiarity of DOD Acquisition process
Previous experience on military vehicles/platforms
