Thomas J. Henry Law is building a premier litigation training academy focused on trial excellence. The Litigation Skills Counsel will empower attorneys through training and coaching, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
Deliver dynamic, practical training that brings litigation skills to life
Provide hands-on instruction that transforms legal knowledge into courtroom confidence
Cover everything from client intake, trial strategy and deposition techniques to motion practice and mediation tactics
Help design and evolve our training curriculum to stay ahead of the curve
Incorporate innovative teaching methods and leverage cutting-edge resources
Ensure our training materials reflect both best practices and emerging trends
Partner with Attorney Managers to align training with trial readiness goals and client service objectives
Create an integrated support system where attorneys can thrive
Assess learning needs, track attorney progress, and provide valuable feedback to continuously improve our programs
Foster a culture where asking questions is encouraged, growth is celebrated, and every attorney has the support they need
Qualification
Required
JD and active Texas Bar license
5+ years of litigation experience with demonstrated trial and deposition work (personal injury experience valued)
Proven track record of courtroom success and sophisticated legal work
A genuine passion for teaching and developing others
The ability to break down complex concepts and make them accessible
An entrepreneurial spirit that embraces innovation in legal education
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience that demonstrates your commitment to professional development
Exceptional communication abilities—you can engage, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across all levels
Comfort with both structured curriculum delivery and adaptive, responsive, hands-on teaching
