Responsibilities

Define and own the vision for Bloomberg’s AI Data Discovery & Governance Platform, built for AI data workflows in the cloud

Design for the AI lifecycle by building APIs and interfaces that make datasets easy to find, version, and use across training, evaluation, and inference

Develop governance capabilities that ensure responsible use of AI data, with lineage, compliance, and auditing built in from the start

Partner with engineering to deliver scalable systems for metadata management, access control, and lifecycle tracking

Collaborate across Bloomberg’s AI ecosystem to integrate data and compute capabilities that support experimentation and production deployment

Shape the developer experience by defining metadata models, access patterns, and discovery tools that make AI data workflows intuitive

Drive the roadmap for how Bloomberg builds, governs, and scales AI data in the cloud, aligning technology direction with business priorities

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in technical product management, ideally within AI/ML platforms, data infrastructure, or developer platforms

Hands-on experience building or scaling AI data systems, feature stores, data catalogs, or MLOps infrastructure

Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and modern data platform technologies

A strong understanding of AI development workflows, from experimentation to model training, evaluation, and deployment

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, research, and platform teams to deliver technical products at scale

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate a technical vision and influence across diverse teams

Preferred

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience

Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or evaluation dataset frameworks

Experience designing cloud-based data architectures or managing hybrid workloads

Familiarity with data governance, catalogs, or metadata management systems

Contributions to or experience with open-source data and AI infrastructure projects
