Responsibilities
Provide front-office support for the Career Center; greeting, welcoming, directing and assisting internal and external customers, including students, alumni, and community members
Perform an array of tasks supporting services provided by the department including scheduling appointments, working with the Hire a Scot platform, and assisting with resume reviews
Assist with updating and maintaining the job postings, announcements, event information, career tips, etc. presented on the Career Center’s digital display (PowerPoint presentation)
Assist with event prep, setup, cleanup, etc
Excellent English communication skills
Position may require some bending, stretching, and pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours
Ability to use Microsoft Office products
Ability to use office equipment (fax, copier, etc)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Background Check
Completion of New Employee Training
Must be currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)
If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
Excellent English communication skills
