The Head of Engineering will lead the U.S.-based engineering function, overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering activities for consumer and data center electronic products while guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design, development, and validation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems for consumer electronics

Build, mentor, and scale multi-functional NPI engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, product design, test, and reliability disciplines

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including R&D, supply chain, and factory operations to ensure manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and quality

Partner with business development and customer teams to translate client requirements into executable technical plans

Support prototype development, pilot builds, and seamless transition into mass production

Oversee root-cause analysis, failure diagnostics, and corrective actions to ensure long-term product reliability

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and tools

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

10+ years of experience in electrical/hardware engineering, with significant exposure to new product development and EMS environments

Proficiency in hardware system design, schematic capture, PCB layout, reliability testing, and debugging

Hands-on lab skills including use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other diagnostic tools

Familiarity with global EMS/ODM ecosystems and manufacturing workflows, including DFM, DFT, and ramp readiness

Experience working with consumer electronics or data center hardware products is a strong plus
