Responsibilities

Develop and implement an annual business development and sales plan
Set and achieve sales and revenue targets
Oversee budgets for business development and sales activities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing prospects and clients
Identify and develop relationships with new prospects
Understand and address key business issues at the prospect level
Manage the sales pipeline and maintain a customer relationship management (CRM) system
Evaluate quotes, rates, and stop-loss insurance options to provide clients with optimal solutions
Conduct contribution strategy analysis to align insurance offerings with client needs and financial goals
Provide expertise in self-insured and fully insured environments to guide clients in selecting the best risk management strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience

Preferred

Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM
