Responsibilities

Participate in a variety of fieldwork including soil and groundwater assessments, site inspections, remediation projects, and contractor oversight

Interpret hydrogeological and chemical data

Assist with preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and project budgets

Help manage project tasks and provide technical experience to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope and budget

Travel regionally on short- and long-term assignments

Have strong work ethic and problem-solving skills

Abide by Company policies and procedures

Other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in environmental sciences, geology, or environmental engineering from an accredited university

0-5 years of prior work experience in the field of environmental consulting

Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills

Willingness to learn to manage project tasks (field and office) and subcontractors

Must have a sense of urgency, be self-motivated, and can prioritize tasks

Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines, changing priorities, and environmental conditions

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Possess a valid driver's license, good driving record, and pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred

40-hour HAZWOPER health and safety training certificate a plus but not a requirement
