Responsibilities

Deeply understand customer preferences, pain points, and desires. Continuously explore both internal and external customer needs
Manage the product Backlog: Maintain the product backlog, organizing items based on value, risk, and dependencies. Continuously refine and adjust backlog priorities to maximize value delivery
Define, create and prioritize user stories. Ensure these stories align with customer needs and business goals
Clearly document the feature description and acceptance criteria within the story so that the development team understands the desired outcome and purpose of their work
Participate in Scrum Events: Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Serve as a liaison between product team and stakeholders. Represent both customer interests and business requirements, balancing competing demands effectively
After each iteration, assess feedback from users, stakeholders, and provide to team members during retrospective
Apply design thinking tools to create features and communicate acceptance criteria to the product team. Keep the product customer-centric
Work closely with product Manager to maintain alignment between product strategy and implementation throughout the value stream
Prioritize backlog items to reflect value realization and business needs. Ensure the team is clear on the most valuable features
Assess team dynamics and determine the optimal team size and structure for efficient collaboration
Create features for Vendor Releases in the backlog: Prioritize vendor releases so that they are seamlessly completed on time, considering dependencies and impact
Determine the On-Call Rotation with the team: Establish an effective on-call rotation for handling urgent issues or incidents related to the product
Liaison between business stakeholders and the product team so that the team resources have one point of contact to get all needed information
Responsible for end-to-end delivery of sub capability and functionality in alignment with the customer needs
Identify and reduce long queues and excess Work in Process (WIP)
Validate/test that the team completes the value expected and described in the Acceptance Criteria & Sign Off
Prioritize all items in team backlog and provide guidance during sprint planning
Outstanding customer relations with quick resolution and clear communications
Attend all Scrum ceremonies
Manage enhancements
Technical issues identified and resolved timely
Release management
Design, develop and understand Systems/Vendors to support Product team
Resolve escalated issues quickly
Improve vendor relationship and their ability to resolve issues

Familiarity with Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Agile tools
Understand backlog organization, prioritization techniques, and dependency management
Maintaining and refining the product backlog
Ability to adjust priorities in the backlog to maximize value delivery
Understand stakeholder needs, business requirements, and customer interests
Ability to balance competing demands, effective communication, and negotiation
Understanding the importance of clear communication and teamwork
Familiarity with metrics analysis, risk assessment, and iterative development
