Responsibilities
Build scalable backend systems and understand the trade-offs involved
Familiar with the practical applications of queues, relational databases, API services, and workers
Deploy apps to k8s and set up health checks, autoscaling, and blue/green deployments
Instrument an app for observability and debug it when something goes wrong
Learn fast and ship frequently, touching various parts of the stack from CUDA kernels to high-performance LLM tracing dashboards
Qualification
Required
Built scalable backend systems and deeply understand the tradeoffs involved
Familiar with the practical applications of queues, relational databases, API services and workers
Likely deployed apps to k8s and understand how to set up healthchecks, autoscaling, and blue/green deployments
Know how to instrument an app for observability, and how to debug it when something goes wrong
Ability to learn fast and can ship
Demonstrated ability with impressive, impactful accomplishments from past projects or roles
Preferred
Prior experience with model training (especially using RL) or shipping real-world agents
