Responsibilities
Strong fundamental understanding of how electric motors and geartrains function
Ability to disassemble and reassemble motors and gear systems without instructions
Experience with root cause analysis at the component and system level
Familiarity with high precision measurement tools including bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers
Proficient with hand tools, power tools and build equipment
Knowledgeable with basic electrical tools: DMM, Hi-POT Tester and Oscilloscope
Works safely in environments with high voltage and heavy equipment
Minimum of 4 years of automotive (or related) technician experience
Excellent communication skills for collaborating engineering
Works safely in environments with high voltage and heavy equipment
Experience with electric vehicle propulsion systems
Exposure to manufacturing processes and controls
Capable of fabricating with manual mill and lathe
