CLEAResult is dedicated to leading the transition to a sustainable and energy-efficient future. The Commercial QA/QC Technician will conduct energy efficiency HVAC Maintenance Tune-Ups, perform pre- and post-installation verifications, and conduct technical inspections across a defined territory.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of commercial energy efficiency upgrades to HVAC systems, lighting systems, and other mechanical installations

Perform pre- and post-installation inspections to verify proper implementation and performance of energy-saving measures

Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to perform inspections, with frequent overnight travel

Evaluate HVAC Tune-Ups and other system upgrades for compliance, performance, and safety

Inspect lighting systems and other mechanical components with a focus on technical aptitude and safety standards

Provide detailed feedback and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness

Operate and manipulate mechanical HVAC equipment to enable functional testing with technical equipment

Accurately take airflow measurements on HVAC systems

Required

High school diploma or GED required

1-3 years of HVAC or equivalent mechanical experience, with familiarity in lighting systems, controls, and energy efficiency technologies

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assess a variety of systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software platforms

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Ability to work in all climates and commercial environments

Ability to safely use and climb extension ladders up to 24'

Sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently

Use repetitive hand motion and lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds regularly

Are at least 21 years of age

Valid driver's license

Preferred

Relevant technical certification/training

EPA Type-Universal certification preferred but not required
