Applications Analyst

The Applications Analyst will be responsible for implementing and improving business applications, collaborating with investment teams and other business units to develop solutions that enhance performance and automate workflows.

Responsibilities
Implementation of new and improvement of existing business applications
Work with various Investment teams, Trading and other business units to design, develop and maintain solutions that will enhance performance, automate workflows and reduce errors
Support existing systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Five plus years of software development experience with strong analysis, design, and modeling skills
Proficiency in SQL programming along with database modeling and design, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server
Proficiency in using C# and/or Java for back-end development
Experience with version control systems (Git, TFVC)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Financial services industry preferred
Experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus: Charles River Investment Management System
Markit EDM Platform
Data Warehouse Platforms
Front-end web frameworks like Angular/React
Large Language Models like GPT
