Responsibilities

Facilitates the fusing of production materials by Tig and Mig welding mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel; understanding various weld form symbols on blueprints and understanding size of fillet forms; welding both vertical and horizontal plane geometry; understanding various edge preps before welding

Ensures the quality of all welds by using and maintaining the proper equipment for each weld; examining work pieces for defects and measuring work piece with straightedge, tape measure, or template to ensure conformance with specifications; adhering to ISO and FDA regulations

Maintains a safe working environment by attending safety training; cleaning and maintaining a clean work area

Accomplish company and organizational mission by contributing to team effort and handling other duties as assigned assisting in the overall success of the company

Required

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required

Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter

Ability to become qualified to perform Lock‐Out/Tag‐Out procedures

Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 80% of day

High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2‐4 years of experience required
