CFC is a specialist insurance provider, pioneering emerging risk and market leader in cyber. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll across the US and Canada, ensuring compliance and delivering a seamless employee experience in collaboration with the UK team.

Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end North American payroll: Lead the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly multi‑state US and Canadian payrolls, ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws
Benefits administration: Manage employee benefit programmes and handle day‑to‑day queries, escalating or resolving issues as needed
HRIS & payroll tech: Work with systems such as ADP Celergo, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, HiBob and Employee Navigator to drive accuracy and efficiency
Partner across regions: Collaborate closely with our UK‑based team and managers in the US and Canada to maintain consistent processes and controls
Data accuracy & analysis: Bring a meticulous approach to reconciliation and reporting, using advanced Excel skills (including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs)
Qualification
Required
Demonstrable know-how in North American payroll and benefits administration
Strong knowledge of US federal and state payroll regulations (Canadian experience ideal)
Hands-on expertise with payroll/HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Celergo, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, HiBob, Employee Navigator)
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills; comfortable with audits, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills; able to adapt to changing regulations, technologies and organisational needs
