Spacecraft Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)
Apex Technology, Inc. is a fast-growing startup focused on manufacturing satellite buses for the aerospace industry. They are seeking a Spacecraft Quality Inspector to oversee manufacturing operations, ensure quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and tests on in-process products and finished goods using appropriate tools and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to verify product compliance
Document and report quality issues, non-conformances, and inspection results accurately
Perform root cause analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
Maintain quality inspection tools and equipment
Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards
Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements
Monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred
3+ years of experience in quality control/inspection in the aerospace industry
Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters) and testing equipment
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (preferred)
Preferred
