Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automation workflows for deploying and managing IaaS environments (private cloud, public cloud, or hybrid)
Develop and support Infrastructure-as-Code modules (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.)
Automate provisioning for compute, storage, networking, and security components
Deliver customer-facing automation solutions that reduce manual operations and support self-service infrastructure delivery
Integrate APIs, orchestration tools, and configuration management systems to streamline IaaS lifecycle management
Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to define automation standards and reusable templates
Troubleshoot automation pipelines, resolve deployment failures, and optimize performance
Produce clear documentation for automation processes, modules, and customer-facing runbooks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud automation
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC and configuration tools
Experience automating deployments across VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
Solid understanding of compute, storage, networking, identity, and security fundamentals
Experience integrating APIs for automation or building custom automation modules
Knowledge of CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Ability to work directly with customers and deliver production-ready automation
Preferred
Experience with private cloud platforms (VMware vRealize/Aria, OpenStack, Nutanix)
Exposure to Kubernetes, container automation, or service mesh
Experience with monitoring and observability automation (logging, metrics, alerts)
Background in security automation or compliance-driven environments
