Responsibilities

Prepares monthly consolidated financial reports including system processing, consolidation queries among others

Acts as a point person for portfolio companies assigned. Tasks include but are not limited to compliance, consulting and review of accounts

Responsible for the completion of financial statement package for assigned reporting entity/ies including collation of inputs for period-to-period analysis on significant balance sheet and income statement fluctuations

Prepares the quarterly and annual financial statements for assigned reporting entity/ies and disclosures

Assists in managing the monthly consolidation and closing of books of accounts in compliance with financial reporting timelines

Prepares accounting research memos including assessments and application to various Globe Group transactions

Creates/Maintains GL Database of all entities

Perform assessment of controls over financial reporting and related processes, including risk and control assessment and management of control effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements & guidelines

Preparation of various reportorial requirements submitted to government agencies such as the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)

Assist the external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual financial statements audit

Responsible for the continuous enhancement of accounting processes & controls. Point person in the various automation projects

Promotes a productive team environment by driving and tracking performance, encouraging them to offer ideas and provides assistance only when needed. Influences behaviors of team members towards having a positive work attitude
