Responsibilities

Prepares journal entries for month, quarter, and year-end close

Acts as the liaison between the Accounting department and various internal business partners

Performs account reconciliations and prepares related adjustments to the General Ledger

Prepares elimination & consolidation journal entries for quarter and year-end close

Works as part of the team responsible for recording fixed asset transactions

Records investment-related transactions

Reviews monthly department financial reports for discrepancies or large variances

Conducts monthly financial meetings with business partners

Coordinates with insurance broker to provide business partners with Certificates of Insurance

Assists with audit requests, as needed

Performs research and special projects, as requested
