Amphenol is a company seeking a Business Unit Controller for Rochester Sensors. The role involves directing financial and accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing business analytics while leading a decentralized global finance team.

Responsibilities
Develop/administer effective/efficient operating procedures for payroll, AP, AR, cost accounting, credit, collections, billing, and all other financial activities
Maintain a reliable internal accounting control system ensuring the integrity of financial data
Prepare/submit corporate financial documents/reports required by local, state, and federal governments
Provide consultation to all operating functions as required for financial analysis of programs/proposals
Manage a decentralized global finance team and drive team to meet deadlines
Connect/translate business strategy/operational results and recommended changes to drive improved results
Acquisition assessment/integration
Create/provide business analytics and timely reporting to a cross functional decentralized team, enable efficient understanding of trends/issues/areas of opportunity and drive actions to improve business performance
Establish/administer the annual operating budget in accordance with the strategic business plan
Lead key business processes: monthly financial close/forecasting process, capital improvements, budget creation and strategy planning
Participating in the establishment/achievement of operations goals/objectives, assess progress and advise accordingly
Identify and drive business performance to industry leading revenue growth, OI and ROS
Implement programs to achieve controllable cash flow objectives
Understand/follow applicable company practices, policies, and procedures
Being a key business partner for the GM
Domestic/international travel
Participate in the training/success of others

Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting or Finance or 5-7 years relevant experience
Lead in a decentralized global environment
Work under pressure with high degree of accuracy and with frequent interruptions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong diplomacy and critical thinking skills
