Responsibilities

Prepare & reconcile monthly journal entries, general ledgers and financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS or relevant reporting standards

Gain an understanding of the underlying business activity and conceptualize the flow of data from trade to financial statement

Interface with external auditors, regulators and other internal departments as needed

Prepare analytical procedures on underlying data and provide explanation for variances

After a period of development within the department, be responsible for conducting comprehensive entity reviews and ensuring their accuracy and regulatory compliance
