Associate Design Engineer – Change Management
Caterpillar Inc. is a global team dedicated to building sustainable communities. The Associate Design Engineer – Change Management will support training, communication, and change management for the Product Lifecycle Management Division, managing user acceptance testing and coordinating communications for engineering users.

Responsibilities
This role will include management of User Acceptance Testing of new deployments and updates to Teamcenter, Creo and other engineering systems
Manage and support change management activities for major initiatives and system changes that affect the engineering community at Caterpillar
Coordinate and manage communications that are sent from the PLM organization to the 13K plus engineering and downstream users of the systems and tools supported
Manage customer user experience of systems and tools by collecting feedback, dispositioning, and tracking updates and improvements based on that feedback
Work as a backup when necessary to the 7 programs within the PLM organization, (Change and Document Management, Data Exchange and Reporting, Bill of Material, CAD, Visualization, Teamcenter Security, Teamcenter Foundation) writing user stories and requirements where necessary
Qualification
Required
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
Preferred
Experience with Teamcenter, Creo, EDS
Experienced with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Hands-on experience with Change Management Fundamentals
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
Experience with SharePoint
