Accounting Supervisor (30 HOURS/WEEK + FULL-TIME BENEFITS)

The role involves supervising the accounting staff, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining organizational stability with a unique 30-hour workweek offering full-time benefits.

Responsibilities
Draft monthly financials and keep month-end close on track
Reconcile corporate and trust bank accounts
Monitor A/P, A/R, trust activity, and carrier commissions to keep everything current
Run payroll and support basic HR and benefits tasks
Supervise the accounting staff with clarity, direction, and consistency
Fix small issues before they become big ones and strengthen daily processes
Support the Controller with financial and administrative tasks that need a reliable hand
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
2+ years of supervisory or lead responsibilities
Experience with reconciliations and basic financial reporting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently with sound judgment
Preferred
Payroll or HR experience is a plus
Trust (fiduciary) accounting experience is a plus (we can train)
