They are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join their Data Protection team, responsible for developing components of a large-scale distributed system and ensuring operational health for customers.

Responsibilities

Developing and owning components of a large-scale distributed system with a keen sense for and scalability
Troubleshooting issues with a hawkish skills
Working with Operations and Support (when needed) to help keep a healthy cloud and happy customer and at the end of the day

Required

5+ years experience in Software Development
Proficiency in programming languages – C/C++
Experience in Algorithms and Data Structures
Experience with fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP(S)
Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix and good understanding of distributed systems

Preferred

Experience developing large, maintainable software product architectures
Very good debugging and troubleshooting skills
BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
