They are seeking a Project Manager Intern in Elgin, IL to assist in driving new product development projects, participating in planning, execution, and monitoring phases alongside experienced Project Managers.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in gaining understanding of our product line of industrial-grade electrical connectors (their specifications, recommended applications, current and potential customer base) and how customer choices with components impact subsequent customized cable assembly product projects

Document detailed project plans including goals, key deliverables, resources, timelines required to achieve success, and risk mitigation plans for new product development initiatives

Shadow methods for managing priorities, resource allocation, risk management, budget management, and improvement in processes

Assist in the resolution of conflicts and bottlenecks within projects or functional areas

Prepare reports and track KPIs for the steering committee and management

Establish a trusted partner relationship with internal and external customers, internal team, and other project stakeholders

Build alignment and lead collaboration with other departments including: Sales, Customer Service, Custom Solutions, Product Management and Production Management
