Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent with planning, sequencing, and coordinating all field operations
Help ensure materials, tools, equipment, and manpower needs are communicated and available to support scheduled work
Support execution of lookahead schedules and daily/weekly plans
Track and document daily progress through daily logs and photos in Procore
Enforce all company and site-specific safety protocols and expectations
Conduct and document daily safety huddles, toolbox talks, and other required safety communications
Help monitor site conditions and immediately address or escalate hazards and unsafe behavior
Supervise subcontractors and craft labor to ensure work is performed safely and in alignment with project requirements
Monitor quality of installation and assist with resolving field issues
Communicate design changes, RFIs, and relevant updates to appropriate field teams as directed by the Superintendent
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow
Manage day-to-day site logistics including laydown areas, access routes, cleanliness, and overall organization
Assist with on-site inspections and help prepare for required code or customer inspections
Assist with punch list creation, tracking, and completion
Support turnover activities, commissioning efforts, and documentation collection as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of commercial electrical or general construction experience
Experience supporting field supervision or serving in a lead/foreman-level role
Valid driver's license in good standing

Preferred

Experience in mission-critical or data center construction
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
Experience coordinating multiple trades in the field
