They are seeking a Material Technician to join their production team on 2nd shift, responsible for packaging materials, operating equipment safely, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards

Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment

Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment

Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualification

Required

Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required

Strong attention to detail

Ability to operate assigned equipment safely

Effective communication skills

Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds

Mount & dismount equipment

Capable of walking, climbing, and bending for periods of time

Comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Two years of manufacturing and/ or warehouse experience (desired not required)

Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval
