Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end transition of manufacturing lines from the Advanced Manufacturing team to high-volume production operations
Optimize complex assembly processes to improve cycle times, increase yield, and ensure consistent product quality across the factory floor
Analyze operational data and failure modes to identify trends and implement data-driven improvements that enhance safety and process reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine process specifications and incorporate design-for-manufacturing feedback into next-generation production lines
Develop and maintain comprehensive standard work documentation to ensure successful handoffs and training for our technician teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage process-level projects from concept through long-term sustainment at scale
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, with 7+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Proven track record of scaling early-stage manufacturing processes into stable, high-output production lines
Deep expertise in structured troubleshooting methods, root cause analysis (RCA), and failure documentation
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear procedures for diverse audiences
Applied experience using data-driven tools and statistical software to optimize manufacturing performance and reduce costs
A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where safety and excellence are paramount
