Research Analyst
Charles River Laboratories is looking for a Research Analyst I to join their Formulations Team. In this role, you will prepare dosing materials and samples that support critical safety assessment research, while also documenting procedures and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities
Prepare basic to complex formulations, including solutions, suspensions, diets, and dispensations
Document procedures and results according to SOPs, GLP, protocols, and regulatory standards
Sterilize laboratory equipment (autoclave and other methods)
Assist with glassware washing, lab maintenance, and disposal of materials
Identify equipment issues and report them promptly
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Provide input on laboratory investigations and quality observations
Utilize various mixing methods and prepare aseptic/glovebox formulations
Support Study Directors by preparing formulations under observation
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
No experience required - training provided
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under time constraints
Comfortable working with computers and learning validated systems
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment (PPE required)
Ability to follow GLP, SOPs, and other regulatory guidelines
Willingness to work extended or irregular hours when needed
Lift, move, or handle up to 50 lbs
Stand or sit for long periods; work in narrow spaces
Frequent use of hands and fine motor skills
Ability to operate standard office and lab equipment
Visual abilities: close vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Lab and general office setting
Regular use of PPE (goggles, gloves, scrubs, etc.)
Possible exposure to chemicals, biohazards, odors, airborne particles, and temperature changes
Occasional contact with live animals (with potential allergen exposure)
Noise levels range from moderate to high depending on tasks
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a relevant scientific field strongly preferred
