Responsibilities
Defining the x402 protocol standard for the internet-native payment protocol
Building and maintaining x402 related products such as the x402 SDK, Payment MCP, Payment Facilitators, and onchain payment protocols
Collaborating with open-source contributors to evolve the standard through GitHub discussions, issues, and PR reviews
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development working closely with frontend engineers; crypto experience is a plus
Strong experience in building scalable and secure software and SDKs
Proficiency with Golang, Typescript, and Python
Knowledge of Web3 technologies, stablecoins, smart contracts, and wallets
Preferred
Experience with AI and emerging AI protocol standards (MCP, A2A)
Track record of building and maintaining impactful open-source projects
