Maintenance Management Information Systems Specialist (Planner VI)
The City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services is seeking a Maintenance Management Information Systems Specialist (Planner VI) to oversee the development and implementation of the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) for rail. Responsibility for overseeing MMIS process improvements
Ensuring the MMIS provides users with access to incident tracking, asset tracking, service request and work order tracking, maintenance planning, inventory, purchasing, warranty claims, key performance indicators, and reports
Reviewing project and program material requirements, analyze current inventory levels and recommend additional ordering quantities and appropriate delivery schedules
Ensuring the Contractor is fully utilizing the MMIS, implementing new patches and versions, addressing MMIS issues, and making sure the system operates with resilience
Performing other duties and responsibilities of the position
Qualification
Required
Four years of experience performing Maintenance Management Information System and inventory control work as a primary function, two of which must have been in a large public or private transportation organization
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in information systems, public or business administration, or related field
