Responsibilities

Participate in end-to-end M&A processes including target identification, due diligence, valuation modeling, deal structuring, and integration planning
Develop comprehensive financial models and analyses to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
Coordinate due diligence on targets with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, HR, and business unit leaders throughout the transaction lifecycle
Prepare and present investment recommendations and transaction updates to senior leadership
Support deal negotiation and deal documentation in collaboration with the legal team
Conduct strategic market research to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and potential acquisition targets in digital consulting, IT services, and related sectors
Analyze competitive landscape and industry dynamics to inform corporate strategy and M&A priorities
Develop target screening criteria and maintain robust pipeline of potential acquisition candidates
Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, business brokers, private equity firms, and other intermediaries
Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities that complement Perficient's service offerings and geographic footprint
Support organic growth initiatives through analysis of market expansion opportunities, new service lines, and capability building
Collaborate with business development teams to assess strategic investments and joint ventures
Partner with integration management teams to develop post-merger integration plans
Track integration milestones and synergy realization for completed transactions
Conduct post-acquisition reviews to capture lessons learned and optimize future deal processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
3-5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or related fields
Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions from sourcing through closing
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Deep understanding of deal structuring, due diligence processes, and transaction documentation
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected

Preferred

MBA or CPA preferred
Experience in technology, digital services, or professional services industries preferred
Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus
