Accounting Coordinator - part time
Sundial Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a part-time Accounting Coordinator to join their team on Sanibel Island, Florida. The role involves processing accounts payable invoices, assisting with payroll, and performing various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the resort.

Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices
Handles receipts and coding for the purchasing card
Ensure that vendor statements are reconciled monthly
Assists with weekly and periodic check runs by matching the invoices with the checks
Assist with processing payroll
Records monthly Journal entries as requested
Verification of daily cash drops
Prepares cash deposits and checks into the bank
Monitor and process petty cash and cash over and short
Shipping of retail items
Audit the safe monthly
Assist in inventory count
Perform monthly audits of all employee cash banks
Upkeep and storage of accounting documents
Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Controller
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Minimum of two (2) years' accounts receivable and payable experience, preferably in the hospitality and/or restaurant field
Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems
Well-developed administrative skills, with proven ability to assist other staff members with questions and problems
Well organized with strong multitasking skills
