Responsibilities
As a leader of the Mainframe Modernization Specialist and Partner Development organization, your responsibilities will include driving strategic mainframe engagements, and helping customers and partners deepen business and technical relationships with customers
You will build high-performing teams of Mainframe specialists and Partner Development Specialists
You will focus on scaling the Mainframe modernization business and partner eco system supporting the business growth, scaling existing AWS services, delivering enablement to the broader field organization, and developing repeatable, packaged solutions to solve customer challenges
As the voice of the customer, you will influence product teams to help them evolve the products and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field
To be successful, you will need to analyze and determine key customer insights from business drivers, market trends and customer feedback, and operating metrics
You will be responsible for establishing clear goals and deliverables for your team including customer engagements, scaling mechanisms and commercial agreements with the partners, speaking engagements, creating GTM content, and more
You must ensure that your team is continuously learning and differentiating AWS with and for customers
You will be expected to plan and allocate for the best use of team resources in order to meet your team goals
Develop deep and trusted relationships with CxOs and leadership of selected market making System Integration Partners in Mainframe specialty by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their challenges, goals, and long-term vision
Engage closely with key partners to help them develop their AWS practices and develop compelling market offerings to help customers accelerate business value realization from AWS adoption
Lead and develop a team of Partner Development Managers and drive partner-sourced revenue growth and cloud adoption across worldwide
Qualification
Required
10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc
Experience managing specialist team, driving strategic engagements, and helping customers and partners deepen business and technical relationships with customers
Preferred
12+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
Experience as a executive focused on legacy migrations to cloud, building business with partners, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
Previous experience with global system integrators, consulting partners, and ISVs
