Responsibilities
Understand commercial mechanical/HVAC systems
Manage the following with accuracy and timeliness:
Submittals
Requests For Information (RFI)
Contracts and subcontracts
Project schedules
Material & equipment procurement
Project budgets
Change requests and change orders
Customer billing and subcontractor billing review
Lead meetings among BEI employees, subcontractors, and clients
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other industry professionals
Understand contract drawings and specifications, especially mechanical
Lead project safety culture
Qualification
Required
Understand commercial mechanical/HVAC systems
Manage the following with accuracy and timeliness: Submittals, Requests For Information (RFI), Contracts and subcontracts, Project schedules, Material & equipment procurement, Project budgets, Change requests and change orders, Customer billing and subcontractor billing review
Lead meetings among BEI employees, subcontractors, and clients
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other industry professionals
Understand contract drawings and specifications, especially mechanical
Lead project safety culture
Preferred
Direct mechanical project management experience
Additional knowledge and experience in plumbing, building automation, and other MEP-related trades
Proven negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Oracle NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and other business or construction management software
