Responsibilities

Help in extracting data from various data sources like SQL Server, Parquet files, and Log Files

Aid in loading the extracted data to Azure

Assist in cleaning up and transforming the data from OLTP to star or snowflake schema

Participate in the creation of reports using Power BI

Keep the management updated with accurate project and task information

Participate in requirements, design, documentation, and evaluations

Performs related duties as assigned

Required

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution. If enrolled in an undergraduate program, must be a junior or a senior

Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future

Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle in Data warehouse & Analytics are desired

Knowledge of star or snowflake schema or ELT and ETL is a plus

Knowledge of cloud-based Data Integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage is a plus

Experience with PowerShell, Python, Azure, or Power BI is a plus

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Good decision-making skills and customer service skills

Good organizational skills; attention to detail
