Responsibilities
Identify work which is TOIL and make effort to reduce it
Automate manual activities, repetitive processes, reporting, controls, etc., configure and tune them
Continuously improve systems resiliency, reliability, and business cost - through design and development of solutions and streamlined processes
Mitigate risk by analyzing the root cause of production issues, impacts to business, and required corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Understanding of SRE principles, Production Support Operations, DevOps, CI/CD, Scripting
Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Confluent Kafka/Solace/WebSphere MQ/Tibco Products) Nastel/AppDynamics/Splunk will be additional value
Extensive experience working with and customizing automation scripts – Python/Ansible are currently used
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
You should be technically familiar with IBM MQ, Solace, Abinitio, and Tibco products
