As a Safety Analysis intern, you will support the Safety Analysis group by performing modeling and analysis of reactor designs and collaborating with internal departments to develop engineering documentation.

Responsibilities
Use software packages such as Python, Mathcad, Matlab, ANSYS or equivalent
Perform modeling and analysis of advanced reactor designs and develop technical documentation and presentations related to these calculations and analyses
Working with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
Evaluate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering required
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Complete Sophomore year of college
Interest and skills related to thermal hydraulics and heat transfer
No relocation assistance provided
