Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist (Mammography & X-Ray) to join their Imaging team at the BSW Pflugerville MOB Clinic. This role involves performing both mammography and diagnostic radiography, ensuring high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality Mammography (MG) and X-Ray (XR) imaging studies following established protocols and safety standards
Ensure proper positioning, compression (MG), exposure selection, and image quality for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR standards, and internal quality control requirements for mammography
Communicate clearly using AIDET, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed during exams—especially during sensitive breast imaging appointments
Prepare and position patients properly for radiography and mammography procedures using appropriate immobilization and technique
Adhere to all radiation safety, shielding, infection control, and sterile technique policies
Maintain equipment performance; troubleshoot basic technical issues and promptly report service concerns
Verify patient identity, exam orders, pregnancy status, consent forms, and clinical history
Upload studies to PACS and complete documentation in the EMR according to departmental workflow standards
Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment and assist with supply management
Provide exceptional patient experience by minimizing wait times and maintaining professionalism
Support onboarding of new technologists and provide training when needed
Participate in call rotation if required

Required

Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
ARRT (R) required
ARRT (M) required (or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred

Mammography experience preferred; new ARRT(M) technologists welcome
